Emphasis is given to prepare children for mainstream schools when they move into Pre-School. This would be done gradually and without causing anxiety and without compromising on the Montessori values and individual attention. In this “transition” group, children will certainly reap the benefits of Montessori Method and effectively apply the knowledge gained in the earlier years while they are introduced to the learning method of mainstream schools.
In the Pre-School stage, the children will be eased in to a more structured classroom setting and will begin preparation as recommended by the Ministry of Education, in a ‘classroom’ setting. They will be encouraged to work within given time frames while guided to perfect the necessary skills in literacy and numeracy.
The Curriculum includes strong foundation in three languages – English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin and mastery of necessary mathematical concepts, science and world knowledge, complimented by physical and cognitive development.
